  1.    CHOICE is a simple, multi-purpose menu program, that can also be used to
  2. select alternate CONFIG.SYS files and reboot the system, and select additional
  3. .BAT files to be automatically run after AUTOEXEC.BAT.
  4.    Before doing anything else, please read the documentation file.  You may use
  5. any of the other items in this menu to do so.  I suggest that you print the
  6. file for further reference, especially if you want to use CHOICE in configura-
  7. tion mode.  It is less than 20 pages long and can be printed on any printer on
  8. 8.5" by 11" paper with 1" margins.  In other words, there are no printer
  9. control characters in the file.
  10.    After reading the documentation, run INSTALLC.BAT.  The install choice
  11. option on the main menu copies CHOICE.EXE to the root directory of the disk you
  12. select.  If you want it in another directory you must copy it there yourself.
  13.    The install samples option in the main menu modifies your boot files in the
  14. root directory of your boot disk.  It protects you somewhat by renaming your
  15. config.sys file and your autoexec.bat file before it deletes or replaces them.
  16. This is not full protection because the sample files may not work on your
  17. system and you may have to boot from another disk to recover!  We suggest that
  18. you have an alternate DOS disk to recover from before you install the samples.
